ARCOLA Community School

The Senior Cluster are spending the afternoon toboganning at Queen Elizabeth Park (weather permitting).

Students are asked to dress appropriately for the weather, as they will be outside for the entire afternoon.

Proper winter attire includes: winter jackets, ski pants, toques, mitts/gloves and winter boots.

Students are encouraged to bring their own sleds, crazy carpets, or toboggans if they already have one.

Please note: snowboards, skis and racers are to be left at home due to safety reasons.

Only students who have signed permission slips will be permitted to go on this event.

These classes are meant for your children to learn some basic cooking skills while having fun!!

Each class will have a nutritional component, instruction on food safety, how to read and follow recipes, use of kitchen utensils and equipment, and include simple tasty recipes which everyone get to share and sample!

Time: 3:35pm to 5:30pm

Location: Arcola Community School Kitchen

For Grades 4 to 8

Cost: FREE (we supply all food and supplies. REACH provide us with funding for these cooking classes).
