These classes are meant for your children to learn some basic cooking skills while having fun!! Each class will have a nutritional component, instruction on food safety, how to read and follow recipes, use of kitchen utensils and equipment, and include simple tasty recipes which everyone get to share and sample! Senior Cluster will be going on a Winter Survival Field Trip to Flying Cree. COST: $4.50 PER STUDENT. Please note it will be a FULL DAY trip. Please complete the permission slip and return with $4.50 to your Family Group Teacher. Only those students who have a completed permission slip will be allowed to go on this trip. Skates are available for students to use, however, if your child has skates, please bring them with you. Skating has been divided into two groups: 1:00pm - 2:00pm 2:15pm - 3:15pm STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING HOCKEY STICKS TO THIS SESSION. On this morning, dignitaries from the Ministry of Education and the Regina Public School Division, as well as representatives of our Arcola students, parents and staff, will "officially" be launching our Arcola Re-Build with a "sod-turning ceremony" held on the southwest corner of the existing school property. Parent/Guardians and interested community members are invited to come to the school that morning and witness this historic event. Representatives from the various Regina media outlets have been invited to attend this launching of our new Arcola Community School. More detailed information will be sent home to families once details are finalized. Start: 6:30 pm
