Remote Learning Extended

APRIL 1, 2021 -- Regina Public Schools is extending temporary remote learning (Level 4) by two weeks. This decision follows recommendations from Regina Medical Health Officers as a result of continued cases of COVID-19 and the spread of Variants of Concern.

Temporary remote learning at all Regina Public schools and for all Pre-K to Grade 12 students will continue until April 23rd. In-class learning will resume on Monday, April 26, 2021.

COVID Identified, School Open

March 5, 2021 – the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed us that there was one case of COVID-19 at Arcola Community School. Close contacts have been called.

The school remains open. Letters will be sent to all school families on Monday, March 8, 2021 and remote learning will begin for affected students.

Survey time!

January 14, 2021--Your Board of Education and school division would like to know your thoughts about the recent temporary remote learning in which all students participated, before and after the holiday break.

We are asking parents, guardians, students and employees to participate in a voluntary, anonymous and confidential survey. Deadline for completing the survey is January 29, 2021.

A summary of the survey results will be on the Regina Public Schools website, when available.

COVID Case Identified, School Remains Open

February 5, 2021 – the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed us that there was one case of COVID-19 in an individual at Arcola Community School.

For the safety of students and staff, and in consultation with Public Health, we have informed all close contacts and provided them information about self isolation. Affected students will begin remote learning and will not return to the school until school resumes after the February break on February 22nd.
