January 3, 2022 -- Happy New Year! Classes will resume as planned on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. The Saskatchewan Health Authority has confirmed that schools can return to in-class learning following the break, with continued safety measures in place. In preparation, we encourage all school families to complete an at- home rapid test prior to the return to school. Most families will have had access to these tests through schools.
Hello Arcola Community School families. Schools have been asked to share a letter to families from Greg Enion, Director of Education, with information regarding the return to school on January 4, 2022. A copy of Mr. Enion's letter can be found here.
December 14, 2021 – The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) informed us that there was a case of COVID-19 at Arcola Community School.
All Individuals who the SHA considers to be in contact with the positive cases will receive a letter from the SHA.
If there are any future close contacts identified at the school, they will be contacted directly by Public Health.
December 10, 2021 (UPDATED) -- Regina Public Schools continues its commitment to promote the health and safety of students and employees and to provide and maintain a safe work and learning environment for all. The Government of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority have recommended vaccinations for those who are eligible as one way to minimize COVID-19 risk to citizens.
November 24, 2021 -- The Saskatchewan Health Authority is organizing and responsible for immunization clinics for students.
On behalf of the SHA, Regina Public schools will be sending information about clinics home with elementary students.
