Celebrating Indigenous History Month

JUNE 4, 2020 -- June is Indigenous History Month, a time to celebrate the history, heritage and diversity of Indigenous communities. It is a time to recognize and learn about the sacrifices, cultures, contributions and strength of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people and to continue the work of the Truth and Reconciliation’s Calls to Action.

This month also marks the 24th anniversary of National Indigenous Peoples Day, held annually on June 21st.
